Vote for "Love Blur" on the Lifefm countdown! - Help get us to NUMBER ONE!
Sometimes you can get really discouraged making music. Its a freakin hard road to be honest! My hubby Steve was having one of those days and as a wife its hard to sit back and watch, so I did something about it! Steve is a fan of an american show called Pensados Place, which is a bunch of musicians and recording enginners who talk shop. He gets up at stupid o'clock on a Friday morning to watch it, which is streamed live on the internet. Last week I thought I'm gona flick them an email and just see if they can give him a little word of encouragement. And not thinking that it would actually happen, I received an email back THE NEXT DAY from Herb the annoucer. "Hey Hannah, Dont tell him, but we will talk to him on the show tomorrow". So when Steve woke up to watch the show live on air they gave him a shout out and he was stoked!! How cool is that!!
HANNAH You know your wife has some serious pipes when you accidently perform an Adele song up a key and she still nails all the big notes that most singers wimp out on in the original key. Sorry Hannah, it was a capo slip...
STEVE "Love Blur" is now on itunes!! If you're keen to support NZ Music then buy it now OR if you're really strapped for cash then we are still giving it away!
